Rec Category: Relationship Paul Davis/Jack O'Neill
Pairing: Paul Davis/Jack O'Neill
Category: Paul Davis/Jack O'Neill
Rating: NC-17
Warnings: Briefest mention of Foothold, Daniel's Ascension/De-Ascension. Angstie. Sex.
Author on LJ: Unknown
Author's Website: Unknown
Link:Complicated
Why This Must Be Read:
Paul thinks he's got Daniel figured out...and things go downhill from there.
The story starts off simply enough, Davis thinks Jackson is flirting with him, and then Daniel gets flustered after Paul kisses him.
Daniel then asks plaintively,"What is it about me? I mean, you're the second guy this week who's tried to come on to me." and "...But what is it about me that makes me irresistible to bisexual men?"
Paul and Jack end up in the same bar, and Paul quickly realizes who Daniel's other man was.
Good points: both Paul and Jack stay masculine and true to characters as we know them. I'm not partial to most slash since far too many writers make their boys a little too in touch with their inner females. I hope that doesn't anger anyone, but that's just how Sel feels.
Bonus: O'Neill gets several good O'Neill lines in this story.
