Why This Must Be Read: This is a lovely story of Evan and John finally meeting again years after John was badly injured and invalided back to Earth, and after Lorne, who inherited his command, has been recalled to Earth with the rest of the expedition, by the IOA. They barely acted on their attraction when in Pegasus, but the old, buried feelings are rekindled when they meet again by chance. It's handled with a deft touch, and ends satisfyingly happily. (As it's an older fic, italics are shown by asterisks.)
