Why This Must Be Read: This is a Vegas-verse fix-it set after the ep, with McKay kind of railroading John into going to Atlantis to be a contract pilot. Once there he gradually fits in, and gets to know Radek. They have sex fairly soon but the emotional side of the relationship is a lot more slow burn, interspersed with interesting goings on in Atlantis and on missions. It's an excellent read with a mildly D/s edge to the pairing, and a satisfying ending. Enjoyable!
