It was a new record for SG-1. Five minutes on a new world and they were taken to jail. It's obviously just a misunderstanding that they'll have to figure out before the magistrate tries them for their "crimes." The last thing they thought they would find in these accommodations were two guys desperate to get back to Earth. How did two ATF agents get all the way out here? Well as Agent Standish explains, "This entire debacle began with but a minor misunderstanding."


Why This Must Be Read:

I'm not really in the Mag 7 fandom but I enjoy the fics as I come across them, and especially enjoy the ATF universe created by Mog.

Right up front, a ring device and SG-1 fans know that it won't go well from there. And it doesn't. There is refence to slavery and other nasty things that we know the Goa'uld do, but it's largely left off-screen.

So SG-1 and our Mag 7 pair end up in the same jail off-world and they essentially rescue each other. Along the way, Jack & team are force to consider what they might do if force with being cut off from Earth.

And the transition back to Earth isn't simple, since Ezra and Vince have come online as Sentinel and Guide and have been forced to figure out how to deal with their new talents. Additionally, after being on other planets, they aren't the same people who left Earth. Re-integrating with their ATF team isn't simple.

A well-written and good story.
