2021 Stats

Many thanks to goddess47, mific, and sg1jb for all their December recs! We finished off the year with 11 recs last month, including my own.

We had a total of 153 recs this past year, which is slightly lower than 2020's 163 but still a respectable number. I continue to marvel that Stargate is capable of producing such an active community when canon closed so many years ago!

Once again, allow me to thank all you reccers - those of you going through the Gate for the very first time, the semi-regulars that keep coming back to keep the Gate spinning, and most of all, you delightful steady regulars who come back month after month after month. (At least six months, if not more, were carried by the same wonderful repeat reccers!) And my thanks, as well, to my fantastic fellow mods, annieb and thenightsfall, who manage the tagging and memories that do so much to keep the comm navigable and accessible for everyone!

And speaking of everyone: even if you're "just" a reader, those of you who read the fics and give kudos or comments to the author (and sometimes even the reccer!) are the very reason why this comm exists. So thanks for justifying our existence, so to speak. :)
