Why This Must Be Read: Author's Summary: Sam seems to have become something of a ’black widow’. Who better to comfort her than the SGC’s resident trouble magnet?
In this epilogue to 'Between Two Fires', Daniel seeks out Sam to offer support after the loss of Narim. But despite that the story topic is (ostensibly) emotional pain and it bears the 'angst' label, actually this is a pretty delightful read. It's an encounter between two caring, staunch friends who - when it comes to their love-lives - just happen to have the worst luck EVER, and it's entirely completely wonderful, from start to finish.
