Why This Must Be Read: Author's summary: SG-1 visits a world with ancient Celts.

It's a chilly, rainy October's day here, and what better to do than to curl up under a blanket and read a nice long SG-1 off-world adventure story! While exploring some monoliths near the Stargate, the team finds a pedestal surrounded by what looks to be offerings - a clear indication of a native population. The arrival of a group of members of that native population is the start of an engaging adventure, set in a well-drawn and interesting society, during which the team ends up stranded and must find a way to overcome the constraints keeping them from returning to the 'gate. All in all, 'Equal Time' is a very enjoyable story.

Why This Must Be Read Heard: This is a great story, so an excellent choice to record. In an AU version of the Atlantis expedition, Rodney McKay is once again the beta tester of Carson's gene therapy, but it gives him a significant side-effect - he ends up looking exactly like John Sheppard! The fic charts their (snarky) course from initial horror and being weirded-out, to grudging tolerance, to eventual close intimacy. The different way that the AU unfolds is also interesting, and eventually they meet their counterparts from canon. General_jinjur reads the John!POV parts and aphelant the Rodney!POV parts and they both do a brilliant job. Enormously entertaining and with great plot and character development - a very fun listen. It can be downloaded, or streamed from the Mp3 link. This is also an overall rec for General_jinjur's podfics. General_jinjur (jinjurly) recorded so many SGA stories, but sadly not all are still available on the audiofic archive after it was hacked a couple of times and incompletely rebuilt.
