Why This Must Be Read: Author's Summary: SG-1 is on the trail of an elixir that kills the Goul’d symbiote, but leaves the host unharmed.
If you like traditional off-world adventure stories - ones in which the team gate to a world only to encounter the unexpected, including both a native population and a Goa'uld threat - this one should be right up your alley. On a simple exploration, looking for naquadah, SG-1 finds pretty much everything but that ... and following the capture of one team member, is forced to go on the offensive, not only to rescue their friend but also to curtail a new threat.
