Why This Must Be Read: Another older fic, and just on LJ. This is a classic hurt/comfort story set after "Inquisition" - John and Rodney are unjustly punished by a vindictive member of the tribunal by being banished to a desert planet that's barely survivable, with almost no food or water, soaring temperatures, flash floods, and alien predators. Excellent action/adventure, and Rodney's life hangs in the balance as a desperate John has to watch him get sick, and then fall into a delirium.
