It's my own piece written as a pinch hit for the Stargate Winter Fest. Interestingly enough, I'd never written Ba'al before. But with the untimely death of Cliff Simon, thought I'd share this here.

Why This Must Be Read: This is a great fic, only on LJ as the author's not on AO3 so it might not be as well known. John's difficulties with intimacy and communication are both partly explained and also compounded by his medical condition  he's HIV positive,  which has interesting ramifications with his ATA status, and causes Rodney no end of frustration. A bit angsty, well written, and an excellent read.
