Why This Must Be Read: This fic is best summed up like this: Oh, Daniel.

It's a fantastic look at Daniel's reactions to, and observations of, the events of Continuum, in a stream-of-consciousness with a very heavy emphasis on his friendship with Jack (or, if your ship goggles run that way, Jack/Daniel as per author intention), but with bonus Sam and Daniel friendship, too. It hurts because it's very, very good.
