This fic fills many of the holes between the battle with Anubis and the beginning of the Atlantis Expedition. Jack is a newly minted General and just taking over the SGC, Sam Carter is newly promoted to Lieutenant Colonel, and Elizabeth Weir is going off to Antartica to see if they can find Atlantis.
There's really nothing new here, but it gives all of our folk a chance to breathe for a moment before the next adventure.
