Why This Must Be Read: An excellent read, starting with yet another mission to an alien world where the team have to conform to local custom, which means John pretending to be Ronon's slave, and Rodney pretending to be Teyla's. With slave-collars, and a small problem with John's...release mechanism. It's Ronon's POV, which I really like, and Hth's writing is, as ever, brilliant. What I love most about this fic is that Sheppard doesn't stop being snarky, he's just also enslaved, like in Advantage, but with a different pairing and different dynamics. Along the way there's angst, extreme hotness, humor and great dialogue. Highly recommended.
