Why This Must Be Read: This fic has been recced before in another category (and some time ago), but it's so good I think it deserves another mention here. It's the must-read fic for D/V shippers.

Daniel and Vala are just right -- Daniel's all self-delusion, arrogance and reluctant attraction, Vala's insufferable, playful and, at the end, endearingly sweet. There's a heart twistingly emotional moment, a light smattering of humour and face-fanningly hot sex. A believable route into intimacy for a notoriously difficult pair and one of my very favourites.
