Why This Must Be Read: This is a wonderful mixture of mission fic and character studies, centered around Rodney's POV and involving them all, as they figure out what's going on between them and find a way to make it work. The ending may not be quite what you expect but it's satisfying and right for them, and it's just a really great read.

This "Conversion"-related story turns from a calm, team-y off-world evening into something more dangerous and sinister with an ambiguous ending, though fortunately it leaves you free to easily imagine a positive outcome "off-screen", so to speak.

Both authors' remarkable skills of storytelling capture the characteristics and voices of the team and the description of the scenario feels real, just like being present at the events to experience and observe everything first-hand.

Great team-dynamics. A little bit more close and intimate than the series writers ever dared to go, but that's what fanfic is for, right? And a little bit of Satedan cultural background, all packed up in a story that felt like watching an episode instead of reading text.

Sheppard and truth serum, two things that do not mix well. Fortunately he has his team that looks out for him and prevents any embarassing things from happening. Eh, well, at least from happening back on Atlantis.
John being confronted with Ronon's iPod playlist, Rodney wondering about the meaning of Ronon's taste in music, the insight to Teyla's personality. Esteefee wrote a story that's funny and touching at the same time and just made me feel good. And she has John's internal voice down pat - especially in his intoxicated state.
