Why This Must Be Read: In the wake of Unending, Teal'c has fifty years' worth of memories and loss that he can't share with anyone. Who else can offer therapy better than Jack O'Neill?

I love their understanding of one another and Jack's unique brand of comfort and peace at a time that Teal'c so badly needs it. Beautifully and powerfully done.


Jack glanced over at Teal'c. It was weird, seeing him aged, not just in body with the white at his temples and the fine lines around his eyes, but there was something else, too. An intangible bow to his back. A weight that even Bra'tac had never shown.
