Why this must be read: As the summary says: "Ends up the green scanning beam wasn't an alien answering maching after all." When the team explore a technologically advanced building on an alien world, a green light scans both John and Rodney, asking them to return in 73 days. Beliving it's some sort of answering machine, they are in for the surprise of a lifetime when they return to find two duplicates of themselves. As they soon find out, there has been a teeny, tiny hickup with the downloading of personality traits. Hilarity ensues.
