Why This Must Be Read: This is a story I have re-read several times! I can't be the only one who thought about what would happen if Martouf/Lantash had decided to stay in the main timeline after "Ripple Effect" - to pursue Sam. This fic is one take on that scenario, and it is just wonderful. Characters are spot on, and this is just how I imagine things could go.
