October reccers: volunteer post

As it's later in the month than usual, this post will be open to volunteers through September 3rd. The official list of monthly reccers will be posted on Tuesday, with any later volunteers added retroactively.

Comment with the username you'll be using to rec and the category you want, choosing a category from the list below or selecting a more rare category that has been used in the past. If you want to rec a category that is not on the list below or in the community memories, feel free to ask. Remember that you may volunteer for a category that isn't listed.

Why This Must Be Read: This was the very first crack!fic that I ever read. Until this, I didn't even know what crack!fic existed - and now I'm hooked. We (elderwitty and I) even payed homage to this fic in our own crack!fic, "The Princess Crack". The wordplay here is awesome, and the characterization is incredibly hilarious!
