Why this must be read: Zinnith has created one of my favorite AUs in this fandom, the Entangled Particles verse. This story is not part of the AU but there's the same understanding and insight into John's psyche in both. I can see this John, so ready and willing to give up his own chance at happiness for the sake of someone else. Beautifully written, this story went straight to my heart.
