Why This Must Be Read: I devoured this story with a huge grin on my face: Jennifer Hailey and Cassandra Frasier, on a mission-gone-wrong through the Stargate. I love the characterization and the snark and the shared challenge of living up to huge expectations. Throw in a great science-y twist, and you've got a real winner of a futurefic!

Why this should be read: I absolutely adore stories that feature the Millers. Usually, Jeannie's either observing Rodney or John, or serving as a vehicle to getting the two together. In this one we get a bit of backstory for her. It's a brilliant little gem.
