Why this should be read: There are of course Goa'uld who are not quite like the other Goa'uld, but not as far from them as to become Tok'ra. How is it to be one of those Goa'uld, who really just want to be left alone, as he looks for a new host? When most of the Goa'uld empire has fallen, and the Jaffa and the Tok'ra are hot on the heals of the remaining Goa'uld? This story is an interesting take on how it is seen from such a Goa'uld, as he desperately tries to survive - even hoping it will be the Tau'ri that catches him, instead of the Tok'ra or the Jaffa, knowing that the Tau'ri may not kill him on sight, at least.
