Why this must be read: I love Firefly, and I of course want a zillion crossovers with our big.damn.heroes. of both worlds. This is teamy and shippy and snarky and has a heist and suchlike. Adventurous, a little romantic, and well done! There are 9 chapters of this world, and I wouldn’t have minded 9 more!
Summary: per the author: During a rescue mission gone awry, Sam and Jack end up stranded in another galaxy where they find themselves passengers on a ship called Serenity.

Wonderful team interaction, superb characterization, and the sheer freedom and joy of belonging. This one is a real treat.
