Why this must be read:
For any parent of a toddler, the ever threat of a swearing child is a daunting prospect they all face. It's embarrassing for the parent, but funny has heck for everyone else. Enter Teyla, mother of just such a child and a woman desperate for some adult time with Kanaan. So she comes up with the idea that her teammates can babysit occasionally, right? With just such a premise, the hilarity starts to roll as Toren's vocabulary grows in leaps and bounds. Just not in the way Teyla wants it to! As Teyla's exasperation grows and her teammate's efforts to "fix" Torren's swearing don't work, the reader will not be able to stop the belly-rolling laughter from escaping.liketheriverrun manages to lace together every parent's nightmare into a hilarious piece of Stargate Atlantis fiction.
