Why This Must Be Read: When Sam comes back emotionally broken after six weeks of captivity off-world, Jack finds the key to breaking through her emotional block to help her be herself again.

I love this story for its insight into Jack's skills as a commander, his practical, hands-on approach to solutions, and the deep respect and trust that Sam and Jack clearly have for one another.
