Why This Must Be Read: This is an AU that is both very similar and at the same time different. In this universe, the alliance between the Tok'ra and the Tau'ri are stronger, and it is an interesting look into a Stargate Command which has a resident contingent of Tok'ra with Tau'ri hosts. It is also very nice to meet some of the Tok'ra again that have been killed off in the TV series - many of them here with Tau'ri hosts. 

The main story is centered around Cameron Mitchell, who was injured during the Battle of Antarctica, and becomes a Tok'ra host in order to be able to walk again.

This leads to many funny situations, while Cam is getting used to being a host, and when he and his symbiote are getting to know each other. Learning to share your body with someone else and not always be the one in control of it, is only part of it. What do you do when one likes a type of food the other doesn't? When masturbation suddenly comes with an audience? Or when your symbiote insists on checking out every single person at a party - and she wants your opinion on their attractiveness?

This fic began my want to do this category. After hearing my little sis, stormtear , rave about it at dinner and seeing sg_fignewton  ' s rec back in August, I read it and loved it!! Now I'm here to share it again for the Crossover category. Evie, the female archeologist from The Mummy movies, falls asleep in the museum and apparently speaks in her sleep. Before she knows it, a mummy is waking up and talking to her from a recent dig at Abydos. Husband of Sha'uri is at times touching and hilarious. I found myself chuckling and tearing up at various intervals. This gem will stay with you long after you're done reading. Go enjoy!

Story Summary: Evie could not be certain, but it sounded a great deal like the Ancient Egyptian equivalent of "Oh, no, not again," which struck her as a rather bizarre thing for a newly awakened mummy to say.
