Exploring the Pegasus galaxy can be tough, especially with imprisonment looming around nearly every corner, thus the Great Escape Calculator comes into being. Unfortunately, its usefulness is questionable until John does some fine-tuning and solves his one of his own problems along the way. A little angst tempers the humor in this story, but it all works out in the end.

Heavily influenced by The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, this short amnesia fic slices when you don't expect it and leaves you hurting for John and Rodney. Even so, I always feel a bit of hope at the end and that makes the pain worthwhile for me.
