Why this must be read:

Alrighty. For my first fic in this category, I'm pulling out a fav of mine. What I love about Survival is how Eve shows what a different turn of events can do to a character and change them so artfully. When the team is pulled into another reality, they come face to face with this in the alternate Daniel. While some of the changes may seem a bit extreme or off, the events that shaped him just make it work.

And to top all this off, Eve writes a tight and engaging adventure/team story. A wonderful example of fantastic alternate reality fanfic-writing.

Author's summary: When an accident sees SG-1 wind up in a nightmare dimension, they must find a way home. However, an unlikely obstacle stands in their path.
