Gotta make this quick. So here we go...

We're coming up on the end of the year. [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] and I are going to go through the categories and this year we are going to move the unused ones to the 'other' category. Remember, you can still rec them, they just won't be available for sign up on their own entry.

I know we didn't get the new categories up as quickly as I'd planned. I'm sorry for that! We will rectify this... At the beginning of the year. It's NaNoWriMo time, and [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] is up to her ears in that, and my RL is just... HELL right now.

Also, (and this is the big one), there are going to be MAJOR changes in how rec's are done and how they are tagged and put into memories. Remember, Memories is the only one of the two (memories and tagging) that has a deadline. Tagging doesn't have a deadline, and that isn't changing. All I can say is that the changes aren't going to be scary, just different. I'm just trying to figure out how to put everything together.

We'll let you all know more in December when [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] and I can 'sit down' with the other volunteers and flesh out the very vague ideas I have.
