Written for the 'Cake or Death' challenge, this is a tasty story of a Saturday, a bakery, and two men who have ended up more than just a little bit broken by Atlantis. Rodney's worry about John carries through the purchase of a special cake and the drive home, the details of their circumstances gradually being revealed along the way. It's slow and sweet and might just break your heart a little, but it'll be patched back up by the end.
