This is a great look at Rodney and Teyla's relationship from an outsider's perspective when Rodney takes Teyla to visit Jeannie. Without being overly sentimental, Duskyfox does a terrific job of portraying the comfort between Teyla and Rodney and just hints at the possibility of more

Why This Must Be Read: Sam and Jack’s first year of marriage, one snippet at a time.  Christi and Ryuu wrote this together.  It's a wonderful, in character look at what Jack and Sam's relationship might have been like during seasons 9 and 10.  I love thinking about the hypothetical and these snippets mix together humor, romance, and a good dollop of fluff perfectly, often despite how much the universe inevitably tries to get in their way.  I think this quote probably sums it up best:

"Though honestly, at times like this, it sort of seemed like their relationship was the same as it had always been – sweet, but sort of confusing."

Get ready to end up with a big, dopey grin on your face for the rest of the day after you read this. I know I always do.

Why This Must Be Read:

This is an awesome use of the quantum mirror trope. Johns are wandering through the realities to find their way home. To Rodney.

I love how humour and angst are entwined. They complement each other very well here. The use of fannish tropes are great, but underlying them there are some very true observations. These Johns are different from each other, but at their core there's something that makes every John John. And that's a brilliant piece of characterization.

And I love Rodney in this, desperately trying to bring his John home. So very true to himself.
