Why This Must Be Read
A fair amount of angst mixed with romance and a little AU. This fic takes Jack and Sam's first meeting back many years before CotG. Ruth makes this tale fit into the story we already know, adding depth and emotions to Jack and Sam's history. Ruth is another of those writers who has the ability to draw you into a story and make you feel what the characters are feeling. I can read this story over and over . . .
