Why This Must Be Read:  Since my other recs for June in this category have been either long, plotty and/or angsty fare, here is a duo of fics for those seeking a bit of lighter fare.  Cute 1 offers just one scene of Jack studying a sleeping Daniel over breakfast in the SGC commissary, while the longer Cute 2 follows on Jack's thoughts there and builds on them as he contemplates Daniel, himself, and their relationship circa Seasons 3 and 4, then, necessarily and as only Jack can, takes action based on his findings.  Both told entirely from Jack's POV, these stories offer a lovely balance of angst, humor, and romance, livened by the unique and always interesting twistings and turnings of Jack O'Neill's mind.
