Why This Must Be Read: No, I am not reccing this just because the author wrote this for me for the more_than_1 ficathon. This is a wonderful little closing moment for Misbegotten, giving us a little more insight to the emotions of both characters at this time in the series. Both John and Elizabeth had just endured a few very harrowing weeks, and it's great to see some emotional fallout of that.

Why This Must Be Read: “Cameron Mitchell loves his job. He's just not sure if his job loves him.”

Kellifer gives us Mitchell at the beginning, when he’s not quite sure about his place on SG-1 or how the others think of him. He tries to cope with his feelings of inadequacy – in how the others relate to Jack O’Neill; in his inability to comprehend Sam and Daniel in Wondertwins mode; in his longing to truly understand Teal’c, but his secret conviction that he never will. When it’s crunch-time, though, he discovers that while he may not sure of his place, the rest of the team has already taken care of it for him.

Teamy goodness and a wonderful look into Mitchell’s head. What more do you need?
