Author’s summary: “You say you are the smartest man in two galaxies. My name has only three syllables – Three!. ZE! Len! Ka! Yet you cannot remember.” He looked at the irritating Canadian mildly. “I think perhaps your brain has been addled by too much coffee. You should drink less.” 

The backstory of how Zelenka came to be a member of the expedition and continues through a developing friendship between he and McKay.  The story is quite humorous, with Radek's personality the driving force of the story.   Two sentences of slash, the rest is gen.

I work with a lot of multi-ligual people.  That is to say, there are mutli-lingual professionally.  We have discussed several times when we becomes lost in a language we speak every day – the social and daily living side of the language. This story shows that experience for Radek Zelenka, and how it helps him begin his friendship with Rodney McKay.
