Why This Must Be Read: I started this fic way back when it was a work in progress. I think. At least that's the way I remember it *g*. Anyway, I was delighted to run across it again last weekend while browsing LJs and discover that it had been finished.

It's a wonder episode fix for Moebius and I love her to pieces for it. But if you have to ask yourself 'What the heck's wrong with Moebius?' then this fic is probably not for you. And it's very much a Daniel fic. Our Daniel, the real Daniel misplaced in time with the alternate timeline's Jack, Sam, and Teal'c. Another very much left-out character makes an appearance later on to tie up an annoying loose end left by TPTB. Plus there's a surprise twist that makes such absolute perfect sense it left me speechless.

I think betacandy sums this story up best in her very own, uh, summary: It’s 2995 B.C. in Ancient Egypt, and Daniel’s marooned with a Sam who’s making moon eyes at him, a Jack’s who’s determined to get under his skin, a ship to repair, a rebellion to plan, and a big pile of Jaffa in the basement. At least Teal’c’s cool. Dedicated to everyone who watched Moebius Part 2 and thought, “WTF did they just do to my Daniel??? Strand him in hell with Teal’c and the Kama Sutra Twits?” I wrote the story to find out, and it turns out maybe it wasn’t so bad after all.
