Why This Must Be Read:

Written originally for SGA Flashfic. I'm such a sucker for a Harlequin fic, and this contains silent but deadly Sheppard, bought as a sort of slave for Rodney by his (evil) father. *eyes* Well, summary's never do harlequin fics any good!
Needless to say it has wonderful characterisation (although I do wish Rodney would snark a bit more!), and John is just adorable in his niave slave way.

Why This Must Be Read: Aside from being delightfully in character and humorous, I love that this author tackles something as mundane as target practice. Also, I just like seeing someone point out that Daniel is a rather decent shot for a civilian.

The close relationship between Daniel and Jack is also obvious and touching and the ending is really beautiful.

One of the biggest and best cliches in the book bites Jack and Daniel in the ass.

Why This Must Be Read:

I read this story several years ago and really enjoyed it. It is one of the few stories out there that deal with telepathy. In this story Jack and Daniel are put "on trial", a trial of truth. During the "trial" they are given the gift of telepathy. The internal dialogues they share are enjoyable and some humorous, which I believe adds to the story. It's a wonderful story full of adventure, angst and mythology. Enjoy!

On a mission to a fabled world, from which legend says no one ever returns, events take an unfortunate turn for the members of SG-1.

Why This Must Be Read:

This is an older story and is a bit disturbing on several levels but I feel it's well worth the read. Jack and Daniel are captured by Heru'ur who has plans for both that aren't exactly decent. He wants both men as his sexual servants. When Daniel angers him Heru'ur attempts to punish him for his "crimes" but he is helped by someone in the Goa'uld lords service. Both men are put through multiple trials and face some difficult situations but in the end they are brought together and their relationship becomes stronger because of what they both had to endure.
