WHY READ?: This fills in a handful of missing scenes from 'Threads' - mostly dealing with the things that would have had to happen between the gaps - the funeral, the deal with Dakara, Sam and Pete doing the whole 'things you do when it's over' deal, and a little SG-1 team time up at the cabin (very fun) and Jack and Sam working things out. Not too soppy, and definitely worth it.
