Why This Must Be Read: I read this just now (its a brand spanking new fic) and knew I had to rec it! Lots of people write fic where someone is tortured and abused by the Goa'uld, but not many venture forth into the fallout. Rowan Darkstar has with this fic. The way she writes Sam falling to pieces was done very well and left me feeling very sad. The Sam/Daniel in this is born out of friendship. There is a love scene, but its not of the shippy romantic kind, which I think worked wonderfully. The fic itself, I think is a perfect example of just how deep the sam/daniel friendship/love runs. *runs out of words* So erm yeah. Go read, and dont forget to give feedback :D
