Okay, folks, I have to say this is a winner. It's a little long, and heavy on description, but it adds rather than detracts from the story. All the main characters are in character, and even the minor ones that are used are also quite in character. The plot, the original characters, the mythology, the dialogue and the pace is all up to par with some of the best work out there. Bit of Jack whumper of a story, but it is beautiful.
