Possibly one of the best Sam/Jack authors online, not only does she get characterisation spot on but she uses believable plot lines. Her stories however are not for the fluff loving faint of heart, her stories are realistic and portray real human emotions.
'Thine Own Self' is the best Original Character story out there, not only is Justin O'Neill believable but does not tread into Mary Sue territory.
The storyline is compelling using the anger between Jack and Sam to fuel the plot.
It's not one of the usual stories out there portraying a romanticised adventure, it's realistic and gritty. Once you've started to read you won't be able to stop not until you've read the last word (and the rest of her stories.)

Plot In a Nutshell: "O'Neill's brother comes to town, and Carter finds herself caught in the middle when disaster strikes SG-1."

Hello all! This is Azar again, and this month I'll be driving the Jack/Janet recs. :-) Good Jack/Janet fic can be hard to find, which is a big reason why I volunteered--to make it easier for the rest of you. ;-)

I should state right up front, for the benefit of people who read Jack/Janet because they *don't* like Sam/Jack, that the S/J and Daniel/Janet relationships are treated as fact in this one: the Jack/Janet relationship is in the past. BUT that being said...read it anyway. *grin* It's a story about regret, about chances lost and wasted, and about two people who have moved on with their lives without ever completely losing what they had. And the end...the end is incredibly beautiful. I think it's mildly AU--because I don't think there's time between Jack and Sara's divorce and CotG for the J/J relationship to happen the way she describes it (unless it happened *really* fast), but that doesn't make it any less poignant. Definitely worth a read. :-)
