Why This Must Be Read: I normally do not read threesomes, but there is just something comforting and wonderful that
mezzo_cammin created that makes this entire fic feel like a warm, comforting blanket that you just want to snuggle with. There is nothing explicit in the fic, but rather a sense of belonging that makes the threesome of Sheppard/McKay/Dex feel just right. This is set post-series, where Atlantis has found their secret weapon for negotiations - coffee.
Waiting until he was sure he was alone, Rodney lifted one of the packs onto the bench and opened it, diving in with both hands, running his fingers through the contents, and cupping the bright red cherries in his palms. Plucking one up, he split it open with his thumbnails, through the tough outer core and into the sweet, juicy fruit, then all the way down to the two small, bluish-green beans inside.
Coffee.
Real, honest-to-God, Earth coffee.
