Show: SG1
Characters: Sam Carter, Daniel Jackson, Jack O’Neill , Sara O’Neill
Het/Slash/Gen:Het
Pairing: Sam/Jack, Sam Carter/ Jack O’Neill, Sara/Jack O’Neill
Author’s website http://archiveofourown.org/users/fems/pseuds/fems:
Author’s LJ: none that I can see
Link: http://archiveofourown.org/works/321211/chapters/516632
Why this must be read:
This is a WIP, but so good, and the author has fairly regular updates, so I decided to include this in the rec. The differences in that world and our SG1 world, are drawn as slow reveals, and yet they are not so hard to imagine as differences that would a real choice or factor in an alternative timeline/AU.
Character driven, and shippy here and there, but nothing too intense as of yet. I am enjoying keeping up with this unwinding AU (albeit canon) …
Summary per author: Colonel Jack O’Neill grudgingly accepted his new orders; he’d just have to view Colonel Samantha Carter as yet another assignment. To Sam it was anything but an assignment; he epitomized everything she’d lost and she was hell-bent on righting this wrong.
