Why This Must Be Read: I don't read slash. At all. Ever. It's just not something that floats my boat. Yet I spotted this post on my friends list... and well... some strange curiosity made me click the link. So I read a few sentences. And I simply could.not.move. I had to finish reading the entire thing. After seeing some bits of Mckay/Beckett fics that left me wondering if I was watching the same show as everyone else- I am so pleasantly surprised by this. It's in character, wonderfully written and I believed it. The wonderful little exchange left me believing that this pairing could happen, that they have conversations like this one. I enjoyed it essentially...!

Snippet:  "Rodney sighed, a huff of hot breath against his shoulder, and Carson could almost *hear* the sound of his eyes rolling. He kept that up and he was going to land himself eye strain. A rather mediocre addition to an impressive list of injuries." (Of course, I reccomend not drinking whilst reading, gems like that make you laugh... And choking while reading would be bad!)
