Why This Must Be Read: 
Hariboo_smirks gives us a look into Daniel and Vala's odd relationship through the eyes of Jack O'Neill. Jack's known Daniel longer than anyone else on the team and gives us a unique perspective on things. We assume a lot happens off screen during The Shroud and also The Road Not Taken. What was Vala doing during that time? This fills in the blanks a little, with a bit of help from Jack. What's so great about this is that Jack sees a lot of what the audience sees. This gives us the deep insight of an observer watching Daniel and Vala. Truly a great story that deserves to be read because it includes the great humor we know as Jack but also the little moments that we see in Daniel when Vala is near.
