There are several episodes that I consider pivotal to Daniel's character development.  Moebius is certainly one of my favorites!

Why This Must Be Read: I have long-adored Moebius for what it offered the fanfic writing community and brainofck does not disappoint in Grains of Sand. Alt!Jack has tracked Daniel and his jug of firewater to a nearby sand dune where Daniel has inexplicably decided now is the moment to wrap his big and slightly pickled brain around the concept of Alternate Universes. As he moves through philosophical, tearful,  bitter and angry, Daniel provides one of the best canon-supported summaries of Jack's relationship to his team I've read. And it makes the reader wonder, can you love the one you're with?
