But that's still asking someone to go through several years worth of months and looking at every fic. And for some people, meeting the four rec minimum within the 30 day timeframe is asking a lot. They're still having to wade through every rec because they won't know what specific month to check.
Believe me, we've thought about it, but finding a way to make it user friendly for everyone... and something that isn't going to take a volunteer hours to first make up and then maintain... It's a lot.
I do like the idea in theory. I just think the comm is too big now to go that far back. Rec's aren't repeated that often and I really don't mind stories being rec'ced for multiple categories.
