Why This Must Be Read: This is a classic AU and will be well known - a fusion of SGA with a His Dark Materials-like 'verse, with daemons. It's masterfully done, and an excellent read. I wonder how many of us remember, though, that there's a follow-up fic, actually a prequel (but you need to read Daemonology first). It's called A Monologue for Two Voices. The link is to Wayback, although the fic's still on LJ. It's a lovely character snapshot of Rodney and Tyk.
