Why This Must Be Read:
Near the end of "Cold Lazarus" Jack tells Sara he wants to "hear all about it" but we never know in canon whether he ever had that conversation with her. dknightshade gives us Sara after that episode, confused and hurting and looking for answers and understanding her ex-husband well enough to know she's likely to never get them.

In this short fic we can feel what they had between them - the deep understanding - and mourn for all they've both lost, as well as for how alone Sara feels, and how much Charlie's death still hurts. We also see her understanding of Jack - of the way he pushes people away and the way he punishes himself.

In the case of Dr. McKay, the more information she gathered, the more complicated, and interesting, the picture became. The man was a fascinating bundle of contradictions.

This is a deeply introspective piece where Teyla considers her feelings for Rodney whilst watching him work in the gateroom. It gives you a great insight to Rodney's real character, the one beneath all the bluster, as well as showing you how it would be possible for Teyla to be attracted to him

Plus there are great cameos from Chuck and Zelenka, and a blink-and-you'll-miss-it reference to Radek/Elizabeth :)
