Why This Must Be Read: This is a story about patience, love, and discovering the unexpected. Despite the title and the pairing list, it's far from being a PWP. I love this story because of the insight into Sam as a sexual being and because this is such an in-character way for Teal'c to court her. Quercus's writing has an almost poetic quality to it which makes this story a pleasure to read.

I never read Sam stories and I tend to dislike stories where Sam is paired off with Teal'c or Janet as a matter of convenience, but...this story was just wonderful. I really loved it. It's a different look at Sam, and a good one. I liked the Jack/Daniel stuff, too. Thank you so much for the rec. :-)
